RockyRoad I,II & III
Finally I got these songs released and the circle of RockyRoad closed.
We had a releasing broadcast in the 11D https://www.elevendunbar.com community event.
First time for me, first time for us.
This is the event that inspired me to write this song.
This happened…the momentum where all the experiences got glued together. Out of the blue.
Background: In Australia everything slows down after dark only the animals keep hopping on the roads. So usually we were at the camping ground ready to go to bed at 7pm for reading and then lights off around 8pm.
BUT then something happened when I was already sleeping. I heard THIS sound.
I could not sleep since my mind went wild as RockyRoad was born. Next morning I went early to meet the couple having the Nissan V8 and told that I’m going to make a song about with their car sound. Could you pls light the engine for me to record it. That was the start of the circle of feeling called RockyRoad.
By the way I’m not a car person…I hate loud engines. But this sound was special connecting the dots of our driving around especially at a small town called Broome (North-West of AUS) where 4x4 was a must after you left the highway.
And what was fun driving in Australia, was the names they use. Rock this Rock that was everywhere.
RockyRoad I:
Very soon I felt strongly that these RR songs are a circle of action. Everything works that way in life. As we close the circles the next circle/s will appear and we have the energy to handle them.
RR1 handles the situation where a part of your body takes off being sick and tired of your actions. In this case it is a severe type of leaving…matter of life and death. For that it needs all-in 4x4 drive to deal with the issues.
RockyRoad II:
I found a place to calm myself and dream of the change that I want to happen. Now it’s time to action, I’m ready to think positive.
RockyRoad III:
Returning back to my body after battling within myself, I know what I want from myself. It’s a beautiful and painful meet.
